There are many varieties of trees in New Zealand. Pohutakawa is my favourite tree because it is known as New Zealand's native Christmas tree.The spectacular crimson flowers bloom and decorate season.

A pohutakawa tree is immense and some old wrinkled native trees hold our memories.
